Why Knowing This Really Matters Most

If you're curious about becoming a Virtual Assistant but feel overwhelmed by the tech, let me make it simple.
Being a Virtual Assistant isn't about knowing every tool. It's not about being techy. It's about solving problems.
Early in my VA career, I stressed about keeping up with the tech. Every week there was a new platform, a new app, a new tool I thought I was supposed to master. I constantly felt behind.
And then something dawned on me: keeping up with the tech isn't the job at all. Using my brain to solve the problem is.
Here's what I mean:
Ask yourself: what problem am I actually solving? I've watched people spend hours researching the perfect tool when a simple spreadsheet would do. Start with the goal. Then find the simplest path to get there."
Don't be swayed by technology. Sometimes the fastest, most efficient way to do something is manually. A spreadsheet. A checklist. A phone call. Manual tasks can absolutely be part of a process or SOP. Don't overcomplicate it.
Realize that most tech has limitations. Your job is to design the best solution - not let the tech dictate what that is. You're in charge, not the software.
When I stopped chasing tools and started thinking like a problem-solver, everything changed.
Clients don't hire you to click buttons. They hire you for relief.
They hire you because their business feels chaotic - and they need someone who can bring structure and clarity.
That's what a professional Virtual Assistant does.
And when you learn how to think like that - not just follow steps - you become valuable.
And when you're valuable, you create flexibility, income, and freedom.
That's how you Live Your Best Life as a Virtual Assistant.®
This is exactly what I teach inside VA School - not just the tools, but how to think like a problem-solver.
