Bankers Boxes in My Living Room

Jul 20, 2026

The decision is the hard part.

I know that sounds backwards. You'd think the hard part would be doing the thing.

Building the business. Finding the clients. Learning the skills.

But it's not.

The hard part is deciding.

I remember how I felt before I filed my back taxes. Not for a month. For years.

Every day I thought about them. Every day I worried. Every day I told myself I'd deal with it tomorrow. I asked friends what I should do. I made lists. I calculated what I might owe. I lay awake at night running the numbers in my head.

Living in the loop was exhausting. It took more energy than actually doing the taxes ever would.

And then one day I decided. I opened one of the bankers boxes filled with papers in my living room and started to sort them.

And here's what surprised me: the moment I decided, I felt better. Not when the taxes were done. The moment I decided to do them. The weight lifted before I even started.

That's what decisions do. They end the loop.

The loop is purgatory. It's the back and forth. The researching. The worrying. The questioning yourself. The thinking and rethinking and never making a move.

It drains you. And it doesn't move you forward.

My student Tammy knows this.

She was unemployed. Money was tight. The idea of investing in herself felt impossible. She was scared.

She could have stayed in the loop forever. Researching. Wondering. Telling herself she'd do it when things got easier.

But she decided.

She joined VA School terrified. She took action anyway. She followed the system. She showed up.

Today she charges $50 an hour. She has 13 clients. When her family went through a crisis, she had the flexibility to be there.

Tammy didn't wait until she felt ready. She decided, and the ready came after.

I see so many women right now in the loop.

You've watched the Launch Pad. You've seen the stories. You believe this works.

But you're still weighing. Still wondering. Still telling yourself you need to think about it a little more.

You don't need more information. You need to decide.

Yes or no. In or out. This isn't about VA School. This is about you.

Are you going to stay in the loop? Or are you going to take your power back?

The moment you decide, everything shifts. You stop spinning. You stop draining your energy on maybe. You start moving.

The decision is the hard part. And it's also the way out.
