15 Years Ago Today, I Took the Leap

Fifteen years ago today, I launched my VA business: RocketGirl Solutions.

At the time, my life didn’t look anything like it does now.

I was in debt. Renting. Living a life where other people decided how I spent my time. I felt stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure how to move forward, but I knew I needed something different.

So I took a leap.

I didn’t know exactly how it would work… but I knew I had to try. I picked up my laptop, named my business, and committed to figuring it out one client, one hour, one step at a time.

Today, 15 years later, I’m writing this from my dream home on a farm in Virginia.

I’ve built a life that gives me:

• Freedom to choose how I spend my days

• Flexibility to take care of myself and the people I love

• Exciting work with incredible clients

• Confidence in my ability to earn a strong, steady income

And most importantly? I’ve built self-reliance. The kind that comes from doing something you never thought you could do.

It wasn’t always easy, but it was always worth it.

RocketGirl Solutions gave me my freedom. And now, I get to help other women find theirs.
