What Are You Doing With Your One Precious Life?

The VA Connection: What are you doing with your one precious life?

I was planting Asian pear trees on Saturday when it hit me: I'm choosing exactly how I spend my time.

Not waiting for someday. Not wishing things were different. Actually choosing.

Five years ago, I was already a successful Virtual Assistant - but I didn't imagine an orchard or a farm. I didn't imagine planting trees with Greg on a sunny afternoon because that's what we decided to do that day.

That's what being intentional with your time really means.

It's not about having endless free time or never working. It's about having control over how you spend your days.

Here's what I've noticed after 15 years of running my VA business: Most people aren't actually stuck because they don't know what to do. They're stuck because they haven't decided that their time matters enough to protect it.

They say yes to everything. They let other people fill their calendars. They wait for permission to live the life they want.

But time is the one thing you can't get back. Every day you spend doing work you don't love, for people who don't value you, in a job that doesn't give you freedom - that's a day you don't get again.

So what are you doing with your one precious life?

Are you spending it the way you want to? Or the way someone else decided for you?

Building a VA business isn't just about making money from home. It's about reclaiming your time. It's about being able to say "I'm planting trees this weekend" or "I'm taking Friday off to volunteer" or "I'm working while traveling."

It's about designing a life where your time is yours.

The next VA Business Launch Pad training starts November 6th - a free 3-part series where I'll show you exactly how to build a VA business that gives you freedom, flexibility, and control over your days.
