As Virtual Assistants, we are always juggling the priorities of getting our work done and living a balanced life. And while we want to work at a pace that we can maintain, there are several advantages when we turn client work around quickly. 

Here’s what happens: 

  1. Clients stop focusing on your hourly rate. Instead of “How long will that take?” they start to think, “Wow that was fast,” and feel that they’re getting great value for their investment.
     
  2. Clients start to think of other ways you can help them. When the work starts to flow at a nice pace, clients will often increase their requests, which then increases how much money I am earning.
     
  3. Clients feel less stress. For many, outsourcing and delegating is very stressful. By showing them how easy and fast you can do their work, they are able to relax and work with you to build a long-lasting relationship.
     

Clients often feel vulnerable when first working with a Virtual Assistant. Usually, they hire us because they don’t know how to do the work we provide themselves and it can lead to worry. When we turn work around quickly (and happily) they see the value we can provide to their businesses.
