Feeling lost? Start here.

This is for you if you've been circling the idea of becoming a Virtual Assistant and are hesitant to trust someone you met on the internet. You're not alone, and you're smart.
I talk to aspiring VAs all the time who say:
- “I want to do this… but I don’t even know where to start.”
- “There’s so much information out there—it’s overwhelming.”
- “What if I make the wrong move and waste my time?”
Here’s what I want you to know:
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to take the next step.
That’s how I built my business—and it’s how every successful VA I’ve mentored has done it, too.
So if you’re feeling stuck, here’s what I recommend:
1. Stop scrolling and start acting.
Reading and researching more won’t give you clarity—doing will. Pick one small thing you can complete today that moves you forward.
2. Get clear on your “why.”
Why do you want to be a VA? More time with your kids? Freedom to travel? Peace of mind? That “why” will carry you through the shaky times when you’re doubting yourself. Write this down for times when you need a reminder.
3. Give yourself permission to be a beginner.
You’re not behind. You’re not late. You’re just getting started—and that’s something to be proud of. We all have to start from where we are. And the faster you get started, the sooner you'll be on your way.
The Virtual Assistant path isn’t about having it all figured out by knowing the latest tech and cool computer hacks.
It’s about creating a life that works for you—one small, steady step at a time.
You’ve got this. And I’ve got you.
